Perimeter Surveillance Radar (PSR) is an active intrusion detection sensor specially designed for ground boundary protection of factories, prisons, airports and border lines. It mainly detects ground moving targets including pedestrians, vehicles, climbers and trespassers, creating an invisible 3D electronic fence for 24/7 anti-intrusion defense.
Adopting FMCW or 2D phased array technology, the radar operates stably day and night regardless of rain, fog, dust and strong light. Built-in AI target classification algorithm effectively filters false alarms caused by animals, swaying trees and leaves. It outputs real-time target data including range, azimuth and speed, and links visible/thermal cameras, audible & visual alarms and security management platforms to form a closed-loop defense workflow: detection, early warning, tracking and evidence collection.
Main Technical Types
FMCW Radar (Civil mainstream, same architecture as LW-K01)
Works on K-band 24GHz or millimeter wave; compact, lightweight and low power consumption. Single unit covers 90°~120° sector, multiple units can be spliced for long perimeter continuous coverage, detection range 50–500m. Ideal for industrial parks, substations and residential compounds.
2D Phased Array Radar (High-security sites)
Fast electronic beam scanning with 3D space detection capability, capable of both ground intrusion and low-altitude UAV detection. Maximum coverage distance up to 600m, widely used in nuclear power plants, airports and border defense.
Narrow-beam Long-range Radar
Narrow beam angle (10°~30°), single unit covers straight perimeter up to 500m, perfect for long airport fences and border lines.
